Chapters Home Fragrance Returns Policy
At Chapters Home Fragrance (Pty) Ltd, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer the following returns policy:
Eligibility for Returns
- Items must be returned within 10 days of the purchase date.
- Products must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- Proof of purchase is required for all returns or exchanges (receipt, order confirmation, etc.).
Non-Returnable Items
- Opened or used products, unless they are defective or damaged.
- Purchases made from third party stockists or resellers are not eligible for exchange or return via www.chapters.company. Please process your return via the original retailer from which the purchase was made.
- Items marked as "Sale" or "Clearance".
Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives defective or damaged, please contact us at hello@chapters.company within 7 days of receiving your order, along with photos of the damage. We will offer a replacement or a refund at no additional cost.
How to Return an Item
- Contact our customer service at hello@chapters.company to initiate a return.
- Pack the item securely and include your proof of purchase.
- Ship the package back to us at 3 Muirfield Close, The Glades, Dainfern, 2055. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return is received.
Promotional Gifts
If you return an order and it included a free gift of promotional item, the gift will need to be returned as well.
Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, please contact us at hello@chapters.company. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Return Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are not refundable.
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, except for items that arrived defective or damaged.
- If you are returning a defective or incorrect item, we will provide a prepaid shipping label.
