A double-wick candle that fills a room slowly and completely - warm spice and bitter orange rising into rum, incense and cedarwood, before vanilla, amber and sandalwood settle into a soft, enveloping base.
Hand-poured in small batches with 100% soy wax and a high fragrance load, for a clean, even burn and a rich scent from the first light. Finished with a bamboo lid that protects the fragrance between burns. The object the range is known for - now in CH07’s black, the flagship of the collection, and here to stay.
Is it a limited edition?
The fragrance is permanent — here to stay. The only limited item is the first-edition set of thirty.
Why is it more expensive than the others?
It’s our flagship: a richer, more complex Woody fragrance, new packaging, and over two years in development. It’s priced for what it is.
Why is there a number instead of a name?
Every fragrance is a Chapter in one continuing story. CH07 is simply the seventh — a number, not a name.
What does it smell like?
Warm and woody — spice and orange up top, rum and cedarwood at the heart, vanilla, amber and sandalwood underneath. Intoxicating and enveloping.
Where should I use it?
Ideally an evening scent, but perfectly suited to daytime too. Beautiful in a lounge, entrance or bedroom, or anywhere you want a room to feel warm and welcoming.

We offer standard door-to-door shipping on all orders. Enjoy complimentary shipping on orders R1000+. For orders below this threshold, a flat rate of R110.

How do I get the best burn?
Let the wax melt fully to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunnelling, and never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
How do I care for the wick?
Trim to about 5mm before each burn and keep it centred — a clean wick means a steady flame and less soot.
When should I stop burning?
Stop when roughly 5mm–1cm of wax remains. Your jar is then ready for a Chapters Candle Refill so you can continue in the same vessel.
Why does my candle look slightly different?
Small variations in colour, texture or tiny air bubbles are natural, thanks to the high fragrance-oil content and natural soy wax. They don’t affect the scent or lifespan.
How long will it last?
Approx. 45–55 hours for the 260ml single-wick, and 50–60 hours for the 330ml double-wick, when burned correctly.
What is a Refill Pouch?
Once your jar is empty, re-wick it with the Wick Kit, melt the pre-scented wax pouch, pour and leave overnight — a more economical, lower-waste way to enjoy your favourite Chapter again.

How long does it take to process an order?

How do I refill my Reed Diffuser?
Refilling your Chapters Reed Diffuser is simple. Pour your chosen fragrance into the diffuser and insert the reeds. For the best scent distribution, we recommend using all of the reeds. If you prefer a lighter scent, simply adjust by using fewer reeds. The diffuser should be placed in a well-ventilated space for optimal fragrance diffusion
